HOLES AND HEARTS was co-founded by two young brothers,
Riley who is now 12 and Casey who is 14. We are often asked about the name and how it came about… so here is the story from the beginning. Riley was born with a large hole in his heart which was discovered at the age of 2 months and was taken for a life saving heart surgery immediately upon his diagnosis to temporarily repair the problem until he was old enough to have major surgery. At 10 months old the Doctors decided it was time to try and fix the hole which would require Open Heart Surgery. The Surgeons were not able to completely close the hole due to the size and location. Riley continues to see Cardiologists on a regular basis… From these life experiences at an early age, Riley along with his older brother Casey, have seen the compassion and possibilities of people who want to help others when they are in need. They have been inspired and driven by family, friends and complete strangers who in Riley’s words, “saved my life”, and they know 1st hand, the reality of how fragile life really is. "The first song we ever wrote, "I Am Not Afraid", was selected to be on the Summer 2008 Troop Compilation CD that has been shipped over to the Troops in Iraq. We are Honored to be included on this CD and Support the Troops" says Casey. We are the Official Spokesband for the L.A. based charity ROCK AGAINST HOMELESSNESS. We also played at the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony of the Brian Johnson Music Therapy Room at Sarasota Memorial Hospital along with Brian Johnson of AC/DC, Steve Loggol of The John Entwistle Foundation and more. Charity shows and Benefits are a big part of who we are as a band and we have played at many shows including A Hurricane Katrina Victim Fundraising Event, The Sarasota World Aids Day 2008 Walk a Thon, Pizza Hut’s World Hunger Concert, American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, Jammin' the Harbor Fundraiser for The Humane Society of Pinellas, United Way’s Campfirepalooza, The Greater Tampa Showmen’s Association Benefit Concert for Tampa’s Foster Care Program called PRE SCREAM 2009, The Shiners' Hospital for Children and more. HOLES AND HEARTS has just finished up in the studio with GRAMMY NOMINATED Platinum Engineer/Producer Frank "BLAME" Macek on their New Self Titled DEBUT 13 track Disc which was released by L.A. based independent label Mongrol Records on May 26, 2009. Holes and Hearts just finished a Summer Tour across the U.S. including Dallas TX, Mobile AL, New Orleans LA, Jacksonville FL, Las Vegas NV, Hollywood CA, Cleveland OH and more. Their first single off the new disc 'JUST ANOTHER LITTLE SUCKER' has been featured on numerous radio shows across the country and is now being played on U.S. college radio and radio stations as far away as Spain, Germany and more... with a new video for the song in production. In May of 2007 Theo
Anderson, Shane Blank and Beth Altenbernd met at Rock School at the
Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center for the first time. With Shane’s
ripping lead guitar, Beth’s amazing rhythm guitar and Theo’s built
in metronome drumming they were an instant band. Just before their
first live performance at the TBPAC Patel Conservatory they decided
on the band name, “nv”. Soon after Rock School was over they changed
the name from “nv” to “ENVY” and
added bass player Spencer Friend. For a five month period
ENVY
backed up the very talented vocalist Maizee Demske as Maizee‘s
ENVY.. With different opinions on
what kind of music to play, where to play and how often to play,
things were not flowing smoothly. The three original
ENVY members broke away from
Spencer and Maizee in November of 2007 and started looking for a new
bass player. In no time at all they had found what they were looking
for in Kevin Healy. Then there was the vocalist issue. Since Beth
sang for Rock School, they decided she would pick up that role
again. Turns out the “boys” of the band did not want to be left out.
Now Theo, Shane, Kevin and Beth sing under the tutelage of Al Koehn.
Currently at 15 and 16 years old, these four very different
personalities make ENVY a sight
to be seen. ENVY has performed at many major Tampa Bay Area venues including Bourbon Street, Boomerz Concert Hall and Ferg's Sports Bar just to name a few. They are the 2009 Hillsborough County Battle of the Bands 1st place winners and will be judging the 2010 Hillsborough County Battle of the Bands. ENVY has a 5 song EP recorded at Morrisound Studio and plans to return there in the next six months to record another two or three original songs.

LAVAFISH is the brainchild of vocalist/guitarist
'J-ROCK'. He's been a well known figure in the hard rock/metal scene
for over 25 years. He's shared stages with some of the biggest bands
in the world, has 8 charting albums to his credit, and toured his
entire life. He's also known as a reigning king of FM radio with his
hit show 'Rock Solid Pressure' which is in national syndication. A
TV show is also on the horizon. LAVAFISH was formed by accident when J-Rock and a few of his superstar friends were in a club one night, and decided to get up and play a few impromptu cover songs. This event made some headlines, and was even covered by a local Tampa TV station. This event also brought J-Rock out of a 6 year retirement from the stage. With the success of that one performance, J decided to take things a bit further and create a new band which would have a different lineup of amazing superstar guests at every show. Hence, the LAVAFISH project was born. J-Rock also had a few new songs he wanted to release with this all-star lineup intact. So far, members of the live version of LAVAFISH has included PETE BLAKK (King Diamond), WADE BLACK (Crimson Glory), JOHNNY OSBORN (Savatage/Dr. Butcher), BILL PASCALI (Vanilla Fudge), TOMMY Z (Blue Oyster Cult), STEVE GRISHAM (The Outlaws), CHARLIE SOUZA (The Tom Petty Band), and many more. J-Rock will currently be releasing a new single to be featured on a cd for the troops which is being produced by John Seda. He also has new 'all'star' band which is the horror themed 'DARKWOOD HOLLOW' and plans to be releasing an album on Rat Pak/Century Media records within the year.

is a collection of ruthless virtuosos on a mission to spite and

We are engaged in an alchemy of the highest order-one that attempts

PETER SUAREZ is a phenomenal entertainer who spans across several dimensions of talent. Performing across the country in numerous Renaissance Festivals and using the performance name of Manolete, he is famous for his "Pyro Gyro" stage show.
PETER SUAREZ is a master of dance and provides a unique look into mixed cultures through music appreciation. He is a talented musician specializing in fantastic finger work with his guitar featuring moving and memorable lyrics. His most recent production of musical talent is entitled "1/2 a Kiss." PETER SUAREZ resides in Gulfport Florida.

MetalGypsy has had a passion for
art ever since she emerged from her mother's womb! She is well known
for performing, belly dancing, singing, makeup artistry, rockin',
designing and modeling aside of her art for DeAd DoLL Society. She has performed with the Demzarah Gypsies since 1999 as Sereena the Sword Dancer. In 2002, she has studied with various artists
and musicians at Ruth Eckerd Hall. 2004, she was in the major
production of "Working" performed at the grand opening of the New
Major Ruth Eckerd Hall Stage.
