Our Mission
The Greater Tampa Showmen's Association (GTSA) and the
Ladies Auxiliary of the Greater Tampa Showmen's Association (LAGTSA) are
charitable social organizations whose membership is comprised of those who
provide endless smiles and family fun within the outdoor amusement,
entertainment and affiliated industries throughout the Americas. We
proudly welcome you to our presence on the World Wide Web...
From the Past...
- IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME... OR HAS IT?

- It hasn't been so long ago,
- In fact not quite a year,
- When all those with the Show
- Came from far and near.
-
- A Barbecue was planned for all,
- With more than plenty of grub.
- To ballyhoo the ground breaking
- Of the Tampa Showmen's Club.
-
- The Architect was Norman Six,
- A man of great renown;
- And now the Showmen, one and all
- Are praising him up and down.
-
- Ed Scott, the builder, was engaged
- To do the job detailed.
- He too is a man of high esteem,
- Whose client's he's never failed.

- Our season's over and now we're back
- From various Acts and Shows,
- To stay a while in Tampa Bay
- Where the salty sea breeze blows.

- If you should pass the old sand lot
- Where we left our pile of bones,
- You'd see a beautiful building made
- Of glass, of steel and stones.

- It seems as though we planted a seed
- On that Spring afternoon.
- And then returned to find that it
- Had grown to fullest bloom.

- The sun will shine and the rain will fall
- On a garden of tree and shrub
- And flowers that enhance the view
- Of our Tampa Showmen's Club.
